Editing is important. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. It’s one of the few things I do recommend paying for, but you can get a good editor without it. I’ve been able to work with many amazing editors for free. Mostly I exchange goods, reviews, editing exchanges, features on blogs, ect. So you can get them for free, but never leave this hanging.

So though your editor maybe awesome with grammar, make sure you get the right one for your type of edit you need. I personally put my editing into three sections (Though formally there are more or less)

  1. Content Editing
  2. Beta Reading
  3. Proofreading

So over the next few weeks, I’m going to go over each type, what kind of editor you want for each. Want to make sure you get the most for your money or your exchanges. Don’t ever shirk this responsibility. Editing one of the most important things you’ll ever do.

So stay tuned for more. I’d share more now, but I have a very busy week. So please stay tuned for more.
